Achievers Junior - Sr. KG 5 - 6 years

Achievers Junior (Sr. KG): 4.5 to 5.5 years

 The transition from nursery to formal schooling is given more significance in the upper kindergarten. The emphasis is given on learning by combining the playway and formal training methods to help the kids adjust easily to formal schooling methods in the future. 

Our focus will be on

• Enhancement of Social, emotional and Personal skills
• Skills that last long
• Enhancement of faculties of the brain that is responsible for creativity and aesthetics
• Science, Maths, and linguistic skills
• Combining play way and formal schooling methods

•  Literacy Skills Recognize all the letters of alphabet (Aa-Zz), 42 sounds of Jolly Phonics and their related sound words & tricky words. Read and write describing words, action words, opposites, position words & demonstrative pronouns, phrases and sentences.
• Numeracy Skills Recognize pre-math concepts, patterns, numbers (1-100) and number names, before, between, after numbers, addition and subtraction.
• General Awareness Understand the general concepts like My School, My Family, My Body, Animals and their babies, Birds and Insects, People who help us, Seasons,  Transport & signs. Writes the sentences related to the learnt topics. 

 In Nursery, children are engaged in school readiness activities such as reading, writing, counting, number recognition and problem-solving in a fun-filled but purposeful manner. Children are encouraged to corroborate their learning through collaborative activities in the areas of dramatics, science, and arts.
