Aparna Jayaraman is a self-motivated, passionate educator, who holds a Masters in Arts and Diploma in Psychology. She is a keen learner and continues to develop her knowledge and training experiences by attending many professional development courses in Jolly Phonics. She has been teaching exclusively Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar at her own learning centre, Kids Phonics, since 2016. She also runs Jolly Juniors Play School, where she introduces Jolly English to Pre KG children.

Over 1000+ teachers of both private and govt schools across Southern India have been trained by her in Jolly Phonics this year. She also visits private schools; shares her experiences and guides to implement Jolly Phonics.

She has seen that children love Jolly Phonics and it not only gives them literacy skills but also improves their pronunciation as well as their confidence in all areas of English. She looks forward to guiding and mentoring not only children but anyone who is passionate in teaching. She has taught over a hundred children annually in Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar. As a phonic teacher, she has seen that children love  Jolly Phonics and it not only gives them literacy skills but also improves their pronunciation as well as their confidence in all areas of English. In her past years of using the Phonics program, she has seen outstanding results in many children to achieve similar success. 

She has completed the Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar Teacher Training Course from CPD College, Ireland. She is also trained with the authors of Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar - Ms. Sue Lloyd and Ms. Sara Werhnam in Jolly Revolution Online Programme.  She has attended many workshops for Jolly Phonics, Jolly Grammar, and Jolly English Programmes with various trainers across India. She also completed a Diploma in School, Corporate and Family Counselling in Chennai Counseling Services and Diploma in how to teach SLD from Madras Dyslexic Association.

Aparna Jayaraman currently runs her own phonic center Kids Phonics to teach Jolly Phonics, Jolly Grammar, Handwriting Improvement classes, Spoken English, Spelling Rules, Creative writing, and Life Skills in Ambattur, Chennai. She also runs Jolly Juniors Play School where she introduces Jolly English for Pre KG children.  As charitable measures, underprivileged children are taught free of cost. She has enabled kids to grow up into great readers and writers through the multi-sensory methodology of Jolly Phonics. Kids with a strong foundation in reading and spelling skills eventually develop impressive creative writing and communication skills.
